My name is Angelo. I was born in Milan, but since the age of five, I’ve lived in Lavinio, a seaside town near Rome. My greatest passion is creating images focused on architecture and interior design through 3D graphics—in one word: archviz. I discovered this world in 2005 while I was still a university student at the Faculty of Architecture at RomaTRE, and from that moment on, I never stopped nurturing this passion, which—quite unexpectedly—turned into my profession.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients such as Natuzzi Italia, Moroso, Fondazione Fendi, Powerhouse Company, Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, RomaTRE University, Ceramica Catalano, Angelini Pharma, Arata Isozaki & Andrea Maffei Associates, OOF.se, Swiss Sense, and Binini Partners. I’ve also taught at higher education academies such as AANT Rome and IAAD Bologna.
In 2015, together with some of the amazing people I met along the way, I founded Lucydreams. In 2018, I launched a small online shop, and I’m always on the lookout for new inspiration, fresh ideas, and exciting projects to dive into.
Everything I know, I’ve learned by hunting down scattered bits of information across forums, then gathering, verifying, synthesizing, and organizing them in a clear and structured way. This blog was born from a desire to share that knowledge and help beginners—like I once was—save the time and effort it cost me to figure things out.
My work has allowed me to meet in person artists I once considered unreachable—like Adam Martinakis, The French Monkey, and Csaba Banati—and discover that they’re humble, interesting, and friendly people. I spent a long time studying on my own, but sharing and exchanging ideas with others who are passionate about this field made a huge difference. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the many people I’ve met in such a short time.
Although I live just steps from the sea, I prefer the peace of a mountain walk to the chaos of the city. Still, I often visit big cities like Milan and Rome, and over time, I’ve learned to appreciate their positive sides as well.
